The Maadi Foreign Trade Company aims to expand its project work in Africa and the Arab Gulf states, through its participation in the fourth Cairo Water Week 2021, during the period from 24 to 28 October, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, under the title "Water, Population and Global Variants: Challenges and Opportunities", With the participation of a large number of ministers, official delegations, senior officials in the water sector, scientists, international organizations, institutes and civil society organizations.

That participation in the fourth Cairo Water Week with the aim of exchanging experiences and presenting all our work with the major companies and participating delegations from Africa and the Gulf states, especially as these countries seek to develop in the field Water and irrigation, and Egypt with its children is one of the largest cadres working in this field, and Egypt is also one of the largest countries operating in tripartite treatment plants, said Hani Salama, head of the Board of Directors of the Maadi Foreign Trade Company and member of the German-Arab Chamber for Industry and Trade.

He pointed out that the company is working to develop and raise the efficiency of a large number of water lifting and drainage stations in partnership with the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, to rehabilitate gearboxes in old stations due to the end of their useful life, and to install new gearboxes identical in dimensions while raising the ability of these gearboxes to operate for a longer period, which contributes to the development of stations that have gone by more than 50 years, which is activating the work of them without addressing the development of the entire plant and waste huge sums of money.

He continued that the company had the leadership in supplying gears and gearboxes for the Al-mhmsah and sea Al-Baqar plants due to our use of the best high-quality European products in our projects, and the company is striving during the current period to participate in the project to construct an agricultural wastewater treatment plant in Al-Hamam in the northern coast, with a capacity of 6 million cubic meters of Water daily, which is one of the most important and largest giant Egyptian projects, which are working to recycle agricultural wastewater and reuse it again instead of wasting it to be the beginning of the construction of the "new delta ".

Where the water of agricultural drains in the North Delta region will be collected and transported to the treatment plant in the bath by constructing a path with a length of 120 km, with the aim of reclamation and cultivation of about 500,000 acres west of the Delta, as part of the state strategy to expand the agricultural area at the republic level, and develop the Western Sahara region, And to form new agricultural and population communities based on agricultural production and industrialization, This contributes to increasing the productivity of agricultural crops and their export abroad and the entry of foreign currencies that are working on the growth of the Egyptian economy and raising the standard of living of citizens.
