Mountain View supports crockery Village Development in partnership with Art Bank ABnG
Mountain View Real Estate Investment Company has signed a partnership with Art Bank ABnG to develop crockery village in the Fustat region of ancient Egypt, to support heritage crafts industries and encourage its residents to participate in the charity and outreach activities organized by the company to create new generations.
Under the signed partnership, Mountain View will provide financial support and donate some recycled materials for refurbishment and use in the development of the village of crockery, which is one of the historic areas with about 150 pottery workshops. Mountain View aspires to complete the development of crockery Village within a year, and has already completed the first phase, which included 60 workshops, to restore the distinctive architectural style of the area, and to create exhibitions to display pottery products in an urban way bebehaving with the value of this rare type of art and to change their lives for the better.
The first phase of the development of the village of Al-crockery involved Mountain View residents of all ages of age, with a view to raising awareness among residents, developing their culture and linking them to Egyptian identity.
"Egypt is distinguished by many archaeological areas that include the oldest and oldest traditional craft industries, including pottery in Al-crockery area in Fustat. The state has made huge efforts to redevelop the archaeological areas during the past period, and we in partnership with Art Bank ABnG have contributed to the development of this region and supported the people of the region to improve the standard of living of the village people, and established exhibitions to market the village's products With the aim of transforming the area into a castle for pottery in the Middle East, and a distinctive tourist shrine, for the benefit of the villagers and the Egyptian economy.", said Engineer Amr Suleiman, head of mountain view real estate investment.
Mountain View maintains Egyptian identity and authenticity, with programmes specifically designed to enhance the lives of its inhabitants from an early age to future professional development, including visits to heritage and archaeological areas to better understand their culture through the "Culture Experiences" programme and "Youth Development", enabling young generations aged 8-16 to develop skills, responsibility and self-reliance, In addition to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship through partnership with the American University in Cairo to launch the "Mountain View for Success" program through the Vincher-Lab business incubator to develop the skills and capabilities of entrepreneurs, provide them with the necessary knowledge, support their capabilities and train them to establish their start-up companies in practice and theory.
