Hassan Allam Holding reviews her latest projects during her participation in the Smart Transport and Logistics Exhibition

Hassan Allam Holding Company, the leading company in the field of engineering, construction and integrated projects in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, participated in the TransMEA 2021 International Conference and Exhibition for Intelligent Transport and Logistics from 7 to 10 November.
Hassan Allam Holding shares its latest current projects and highlights the change they are making in Egypt's transport sector by providing passenger and cargo services during the four-day conference and exhibition, with an expected audience of over 80,000 visitors and 80 exhibitors from 13 countries.

One of the most notable projects that Hassan Allam Holding is recently involved in is the electric train project (LRT), which links Al Salam City with the new administrative capital and the tenth of Ramadan, and is part of the Government's efforts to modernize the current transport network within five years to provide better and smoother transport. The fourth line is a subway project and a railway station in Shatil, as well as Sphinx Airport and other seaports.
The Hassan Allam Construction Company was commissioned to build two express train stations at Alamein and Wadi Natrun, while the Hassan Allam Road and Bridge Company was commissioned to build four Bridges on the same project, two for cars and two for trains. The first car bridge will span more than 195 metres and be 70 metres wide on the regional ring road. The second car bridge is located on the Quarries Road and will be 520 metres long and 30 metres wide. The third bridge will be 1,000 meters long and 13.3 meters wide, while the fourth will be dedicated to the electric train in 6th of October.
The Hassan Alam Road and Bridge Company is working on a double track railway project with charitable Bridges on the Nile linking Qalubiya and Menoufia provinces to provide easy and convenient mass transit for passengers. The company is also working with the Ministry of Transport to upgrade the existing road network, as part of the government's plan to add more than 7,200 km of new roads and develop more than 5,000 km of existing roads.
Work is currently under way on the train station project in Shatil, which is the meeting area of the main railway lines in Egypt (the High Dam - Alexandria - Al-Manash - cargo lines), where Hassan Allam Construction Company is completing work at the main terminal in addition to two main workshops for the maintenance of trains and other service facilities such as fuel tanks, railway car washing machines and water tanks. While Hassan Allam Road and Bridge Company is engaged in railway work and track work for the new line, which runs for 22 km.
In terms of roads and Bridges, Hassan Alam will present roads and Bridges during the conference with an overview of the latest developments to expand the Cairo Ring Road using two Cantilever Carriages over the Nile River that can handle up to 470 tons. The company will also offer the new North Luxor axis, which connects the Eastern Sahara road with the Western Sahara road through 11 6-lane concrete Bridges, to contribute to the renewal of the old city's tourism traffic.
As part of the development of tourism, Hassan Allam has implemented the Pyramid Road Tourism Project, a 3.7 km long six-lane reinforced concrete road, carefully designed with a view to sustainability and aesthetics, with the company also planning to show its roads between Upper Egypt and Cairo, which are being developed to serve heavy transport vehicles to and from cement plants and marble quarries; The Alexandria Desert Road project is 30 km long. The treaty road project is 16 km long on the Suez - Cairo highway.
The development of Egypt's transport and logistics infrastructure is part of a broad strategy for which the Egyptian government has already allocated more than US $5.6 billion in investment to renewing Egypt's transport sector in 2020, with the introduction of mega-projects and new modes of transportation, including new metro lines and the Electric Express project.
