He pointed out that the New Capital represents the largest smart city in the Middle East, pointing out that the total state investment in the utilities sector only inside the New Capital exceeded 160 billion pounds, which confirms that the New Capital represents a new era for the new republic, and that all projects will be managed in a completely smart way, Especially the utilities sector, which confirms the disappearance of all phenomena that occurred before, from digging in the streets, etc.
The Chairman of the company, Maamar Al-Ashraf, stressed that the start of the government's transition to the New Capital is a message of confidence and reassurance from the state to all investors inside the New Capital, explaining that the administrative capital has become the thermometer of the Egyptian real estate sector and sets out the future policy for the real estate sector.
He noted that 52 thousand employees are to be moved to the New Capital and each month a specific group will be moved so that the capital is ready to receive official work on 30 June 2022, which is the official opening date, noting that the government is keen to provide new housing units ranging in size from 118,120 meters and the first phase of these units includes 10 thousand housing units.
Ambassador Bassam Rady, the official spokesman for the presidency of the Republic, confirmed that the president instructed the government to start the actual transition of the government district in the new administrative capital starting next December for the start of work for a trial period of 6 months, after the end of the current preparatory phase for the headquarters and facilities of the government district.
