Al-Arafa Group opens a factory in the city of Borg Al-Arab on an area of 4,000 square meters. It has several different production lines for the manufacture of body and hair care materials. There is also a special line for the manufacture of detergents and perfumes, said Mohammed Arafa Al-Attar, member of the Foodstuffs Industry Chamber of the Federation of Industries and CEO of the Arafa Group.
Al-Attar added that the group has developed a plan in advance to provide new export opportunities, and the group has already succeeded in exporting Egyptian raw materials to Vietnam, and India. The group also intends to implement the second phase, which is to penetrate foreign markets with finished products under the slogan “Made in Egypt.”
Al-Attar revealed that the Arafa Group will be listed on the stock exchange as one of the solutions presented to us to complete the expansion process that the group is undertaking during the coming period, pointing to the company’s interest in establishing a holding company that includes under its banner all the group’s companies.
He stressed that the group is seeking, during the next year, to open a date factory in Siwa, Matrouh Governorate, in partnership with the largest date producers in Siwa, with an investment value exceeding 100 million pounds over a series of stages.
