Cairo, Egypt, 23 November 2024 - Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held an extensive meeting this Saturday morning at the headquarters of the New Alamein City Authority. The meeting aimed to review the progress of various development projects in the Northwestern Coast region, implemented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and its subsidiaries. The meeting was attended by officials from the ministry, NUCA, and heads of the new city authorities in the Northwestern Coast region.
The Minister of Housing issued several directives to NUCA officials and the heads of the new city authorities in the region. These directives focused on accelerating the implementation rates of various projects, completing and handing over units to their beneficiaries in New Alamein City, and swiftly finalizing work in Shams Al-Hikma area, West Dabaa area, and Marina Alamein Tourist Center.

The minister also instructed the team to quickly complete the design of lakes south of the International Coastal Road to begin their implementation and maximize the use of land south of the road. Additionally, he emphasized the need to expedite strategic planning for all lands transferred to NUCA in the Northwestern Coast sector to optimize their use.
