ADIDAS AND LIVERPOOL FC launch new home and away kits for the 2025/26 season

Cairo, August 5, 2025 – adidas and Liverpool FC proudly unveil the club’s new Home and Away kits for the 2025/26 season, marking the return of the three stripes to Anfield for the first time in 13 years. Having shaped some of Liverpool’s most iconic moments from 1985–1996 and again from 2006–2012, adidas re-joins the Reds this season with the latest performance innovation and fan-focused design.

The newly launched home jersey is the purest expression of the club’s DNA. It pairs a timeless design with the legendary Liver Bird crest emblazoned on the chest.

Completing the look, the kit is matched with red shorts and red socks that feature the adidas three stripes at the cuff and ‘LFC’ sign-off above the adidas logo on the shin.

The away jersey draws from a rich tradition of LFC changing colours. It is presented in an off-white base with black and red detailing. Its crest features the Liver Bird set within a shield, echoing the architecture of the original Anfield Main Stand of 1906. The Away look offers two styling options: black shorts with off-white socks or off-white shorts with black socks.

Both kits leverage adidas’ latest lightweight innovation to elevate on-field performance and player confidence. Advanced breathable materials help maintain coolness under pressure, and fan versions feature sweat-wicking technology to deliver everyday comfort.

“We are immensely proud to see adidas and Liverpool FC together again,” said Sam Handy, General Manager of adidas Football. “The three stripes on Liverpool shirts represent so much history, and this launch is just the beginning of a special new era. The Home kit embodies the spirit and elegance of Liverpool, while the Away design pays homage to 119 years of club tradition rooted in Anfield.”

Ben Latty, Commercial Director at Liverpool FC, added: “These new kits are more than just sportswear—they mark the beginning of a ten-year journey between Liverpool and adidas. Since announcing the new partnership in March, the excitement among supporters has been tangible. We look forward to years of passion, trophies, and memorable moments together.”

In addition to the Home and Away strips, the collection includes a Pre-Match jersey inspired by the iconic Shankly Gates at Anfield, a Z.N.E. Football Anthem jacket with a ‘YNWA’ sign-off, and a bespoke LFC Samba trainer featuring a white upper and red three stripes.

To celebrate the launch, adidas and Liverpool FC have produced “Your Dream, Our Reality,” a film spotlighting club legends from the past and present, including Ian Rush, Mohamed Salah, Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, and both the men’s and women’s first teams. The film reimagines a classic adidas campaign for a new generation.
