Cairo, September 26, 2025 – The third day of Cityscape Talks, held as part of Cityscape Egypt 2025, featured a series of rich and diverse talks addressing the latest trends and innovations in the real estate sector. Local and international experts showcased new solutions in design, investment, and development within the industry.
The discussions covered topics such as prospects for international real estate investment, interactive experiences using virtual reality (VR) in interior design, smart approaches to making the most of small spaces, and an open debate on fractional ownership as an innovative solution to rising prices, enabling broader access to the property market.
The day kicked off with a panel titled “Cairo DownTown, Legacy Vs Future,” which explored the future of Downtown Cairo and Historic Cairo, focusing on how to preserve their unique architectural and cultural character while meeting the demands of modern urban development. Panelists included Eng. Khaled Sedeik, Chairman of the Urban Development Fund; Philopateer Dimitri, Deputy CEO Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment; and Eng. Mostafa Salem, Founder of Cairo Makeover. The session was moderated by Huda Mekkawi, architect and journalist.
The second panel, “Global Horizons.. Strategic Investment Destinations Beyond Borders,” brought together leading regional market figures to discuss opportunities in international real estate investment. Speakers included Ahmed Abbassi, CEO & Founder of Greca Group; Haitham Al Lawati, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at WUJHA Development; and Vasilis Leivadas, Vice President of Business Development at Lux&Easy. The discussion was moderated by Mena Abdelrazek, financial and economic journalist.
Later in the day, Mona Hussein, Founder and CEO of Mona Hussein Design House - MHDH, delivered a lecture titled “Your tiny space reimagined - Interior design, tips, tricks and secrets like no other,” where she shared key secrets and hacks of interior design that enable optimal use of limited areas. She emphasized that smart design has become essential amid soaring property prices and urban density, stressing that attention to detail and innovative use of space and furniture can transform small units into inspiring and comfortable places for living or working.
The event also featured an open discussion titled “Fractional Ownership.. Price hikes can't stop your real estate investment,” moderated by economic journalist Marwa Abou El-Magd, with participation from Ahmed Saqr, Founder & CEO of FARIDA.
Concluding the day, Hazem Mansour, General Manager of Hazem Mansour Engineering Services, presented an innovative interactive session titled “VR.. Live the reality of your interior design” as part of Cityscape Egypt 2025, allowing visitors to experience walking through their designs using VR technology before actual implementation.
It is worth noting that Cityscape Egypt 2025 kicked off on Wednesday, September 24, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo, and concludes tomorrow. The exhibition brings together leading real estate developers to showcase their latest projects. This year’s edition introduces a new international pavilion featuring global developers, further reinforcing Cityscape’s position as a leading regional and international real estate event.
Cityscape 2025 also features Cityscape Talks, a program of panels and interactive workshops addressing the best investment opportunities for individuals, the future of the real estate sector, and key trends such as sustainability and smart cities.
