Cairo, October 12, 2025: Engineer Tamer Wadieh, Chairman of TCM Consulting, announced that the company – as the strategic partner of Abu Dhabi Aviation – is launching a groundbreaking project in Egypt to provide premium air transportation services via helicopters under the brand name “Egypt Air Taxi”, marking the first service of its kind in the country.
Wadieh explained that the project represents a qualitative leap in the high-end, fast-transport sector in Egypt, aiming to cut travel time between key destinations such as Cairo, the North Coast, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Luxor, while delivering an exceptional travel experience tailored to the needs of business executives, tourists, and officials.
He confirmed that the Egyptian Air Force is the strategic partner and primary supporter of the project.

The fleet will consist of four luxury Leonardo AW139 VIP helicopters, including two 8-seat aircraft (one dedicated for VVIPs) and two 12-seat aircraft (one VIP-configured). All helicopters feature luxurious interiors, advanced entertainment and climate control systems, and noise- and vibration-reduction technologies for a superior passenger experience.
According to Wadieh, “Egypt Air Taxi” targets high-end travelers, including business professionals, luxury tourists from the Gulf and Europe, and official delegations seeking fast, comfortable, and secure air travel.
The project has also established a comprehensive operational network of more than 25 helipads across Cairo, the North Coast, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea resorts, ensuring wide coverage for premium air transport services.
Wadieh concluded that “Egypt Air Taxi” is a strategic initiative designed to boost Egypt’s tourism sector, revitalize the domestic aviation industry, and enhance Egypt’s position as a global tourism destination aligned with the latest standards of luxury air mobility.
