“Elano Water” Organizes Celebration to Support Child Burn Survivors at Ahl Masr Foundation

Cairo, Egypt – November 30, 2025: Valley Company, owner of the “Elano Water” brand, organized a large-scale celebration marking World Children’s Day at the Ahl Masr Integration and Empowerment Center — an extension of Ahl Masr Hospital’s mission to provide continuous psychological support and rehabilitation for burn survivors after completing their medical treatment. Held under the theme “From the Elano Family to the Ahl Masr Family… Celebrating the Heroes of Life,” the event reflected the company’s commitment to strengthening its social responsibility efforts and supporting child burn survivors as they reintegrate into society with confidence.

The celebration took place on Friday with the participation of company staff and specialists in recreational activities. The day offered a full program combining play, engagement, and psychological support, helping the children build self-confidence and encouraging their involvement in positive community experiences.

A Sustainable Social Vision

Dr. Ahmed Eliwa, CEO of Valley Water — the company behind the “Elano Water” brand — said the event aligns with the company’s long-term vision of creating genuine and sustainable social impact. “We believe that the role of major institutions goes beyond offering high-quality products,” he said. “It extends to meaningful participation in community development, especially when it comes to children who need additional support.”

He added that choosing the Ahl Masr Integration and Empowerment Center “was no coincidence,” describing it as a successful model for social inclusion that the company seeks to support and expand in cooperation with the Ahl Masr Foundation and Ahl Masr Burns Hospital.

An Enduring Humanitarian Mission

Dr. Heba El-Sewedy, Founder and Chairwoman of Ahl Masr Foundation and Ahl Masr Burns Hospital, said: “In continuation of our vision of ‘A Humanity Without Burns,’ the Ahl Masr Integration and Empowerment Center was established to offer a safe and supportive space for every child who has survived the trauma of burns. On this Children’s Day, we celebrate our brave children in a place that embodies the core of our mission.”

El-Sewedy extended heartfelt thanks to “Elano Water” for sponsoring the event. “Thank you for bringing joy to our children, to my heart personally, and to the hearts of Ahl Masr’s dedicated team who work tirelessly to give these children a chance to begin a stronger and more confident chapter of their lives,” she added.

Initiatives With Lasting Impact

Maha Abou Saa, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at the company, said the “Elano” initiative aims to create an experience that continues to resonate long after the event ends. “We developed a comprehensive program of entertainment, competitions, and artistic activities, alongside psychological support provided by specialists,” she explained. “Our goal is for each child to feel valued, included, and empowered — with a safe space to express themselves.”

She added that the company is preparing to launch a series of new CSR initiatives in 2026 focused on health, education, and support for community-integration institutions — reaffirming “Elano Water’s” commitment to its humanitarian role alongside its industrial operations.

Ongoing Institutional Support

Eman Sherif, CEO of Ahl Masr Foundation, praised the initiative, calling it a strong example of how private-sector companies can play a vital role in supporting burn survivors. “This step reflects a deep understanding of the responsibility companies have toward children recovering from burn injuries,” she said. “It reinforces our mission to empower them and facilitate their reintegration into society.”

Eman explained that children treated at Ahl Masr Hospital need continuous support — whether through psychological care, engaging activities, or safe environments that help them feel loved, accepted, and valued. “This is exactly what the Integration and Empowerment Center provides,” she noted.

She emphasized that having a committed partner like “Elano Water,” which believes in the foundation’s mission, offers a powerful boost to expand inclusion programs and develop new experiences for children and their families. “We look forward to further cooperation, especially in programs that combine awareness, psychological and social support, and equal opportunities for every child who has survived a burn accident to rebuild their life with confidence.”

Eman concluded by saying that the joy witnessed on the children’s faces during the celebration “is truly priceless — and represents the core purpose of Ahl Masr Foundation’s work.”
