Cairo, 22 January, 2026: Alameda Healthcare Group and Houston Methodist announced the signing of a multi-year strategic partnership focused on advancing high-quality, patient-centered care at the Madinaty Hospital in New Cairo, Egypt. The agreement marks the beginning of a multi-year collaboration grounded in shared values, mutual trust and a commitment to innovation, quality and sustainable health system development.
Alameda senior leaders attended the signing at Houston Methodist Hospital, in Houston, Texas, underscoring the importance of the partnership and the confidence placed in Houston Methodist as a global health care leader.

The co-branded affiliation between Madinaty Hospital and Houston Methodist includes strategic planning, operational commissioning, quality management framework development and performance monitoring systems to support data-driven improvement. The agreement also encompasses clinical and executive education and training, patient experience design, and an ongoing clinical affiliation to enable continuous knowledge exchange.

Through a structured, multi-year collaboration, Houston Methodist will review assessments of clinical quality, patient experience and frameworks, benchmarking performance against leading international standards and providing actionable recommendations to support sustained excellence beyond hospital opening.
The partnership enables multidisciplinary clinical collaboration, including physician-to-physician consultation and joint case reviews, strengthening clinical decision-making and shared learning.
To build local capability, the affiliation includes comprehensive education and leadership development programs, featuring Houston-based training for Madinaty Hospital clinicians and executives, onsite workshops and continuous professional development initiatives.
Joint advisory forums will ensure ongoing alignment on strategy, quality priorities, and patient-centered outcomes, reinforcing transparency, accountability and measurable performance improvement. Houston Methodist will also support go-to-market and operational readiness and remain an active partner beyond opening day, establishing a strong foundation for enduring collaboration.
In addition to the signing ceremony, the Alameda Healthcare leadership visit to Houston included sessions with key Houston Methodist executive, clinical and operational leaders, as well as a project kickoff held at the Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital campus, the newest hospital in the Houston Methodist system which integrates the latest health care innovation and technology. These engagements marked the operational launch of the partnership and established early alignment on priorities and next steps
