Cairo, 7 April 2026: AXA Egypt led a series of integrated community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, reinforcing its role as a leading force in shaping the corporate social responsibility landscape in Egypt. This reflects its global strategy, which places “people first” at the core of its priorities. These initiatives are driven by a structured institutional approach that empowers employees to act as active contributors in driving change and delivering tangible, positive impact within the community.

The initiatives focused on three main pillars: enhancing food security, support women who are primary breadwinners, and bringing joy to children. These efforts were implemented in collaboration with Share a Smile and FACE for Children in need, with active participation from AXA’s employees.

Under the food security pillar, AXA Egypt partnered with Share a Smile to support the preparation and distribution of approximately 7,000 meals daily throughout Ramadan, reaching a total of over 210,000 meals delivered to families in need, and contributing to strengthening community support systems. In parallel, AXA employees directly participated in preparing more than 2,500 meals, reflecting the company’s commitment to fostering a strong culture of volunteering and meaningful community engagement.

Coinciding with International Women’s Day during Ramadan, AXA Egypt extended its efforts to support women who are primary providers for their families. Employees participated in preparing and distributing more than 400 Ramadan food boxes to underprivileged women, reaffirming AXA’s commitment to women’s empowerment and fostering family and community stability.

AXA Egypt also extended its efforts into Eid Al-Fitr through an initiative in collaboration with FACE for Children in need, which included a donation campaign to provide Eid clothing for children, aiming to bring joy and allowing them to fully experience the festive spirit.
