Cairo _ 11May 2026: Rayz Developments, the real estate arm of Al Shams Contracting and Engineering Works Company, announced the launch of its first multi-use project "BRX" in the Egyptian market, located in a prime strategic location on Mohamed Naguib Axis in New Cairo. This step marks the official start of the company's activities in the real estate development sector, relying on the solid engineering and construction expertise that Al Shams Company possesses, enhancing its presence and its ability to deliver integrated projects with high-quality execution standards in the Egyptian market.
The project is being developed on a total area of 36,483 square meters, in a prime strategic location directly on Mohamed Naguib Axis, with a frontage stretching approximately 390 meters, giving it a strong presence and easy accessibility.
BRX consists of 9 buildings that include spaces dedicated to commercial and administrative activities, in addition to a garage with a capacity of approximately 800 cars, enhancing its ability to serve companies, entrepreneurs, and investors looking for a flexible business environment that supports growth and expansion.
In the same context, the project launch ceremony witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between Rayz Developments and e& Egypt to provide an integrated Triple Play services package within BRX, including high-speed internet services, landline telephone, and IPTV, in addition to extending an advanced fiber optic network to ensure ultra-fast connectivity and higher performance stability, in the presence of Engineer Dalia Salah, Head of Gated Communities And Business Parks, e& businesses .
This cooperation aims to support the project's technological infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency by providing smart communication solutions that meet the needs of commercial and administrative activities, contributing to an improved work environment and higher quality of services offered to users within the project.
The BRX project represents the first projects of Rayz Developments, which was established in 2025 as an extension of the expertise of Al-Shams Contracting and Engineering Works Company in the real estate development sector, in a step aimed at transferring this expertise from the scope of implementation and contracting to broader horizons in integrated real estate development. Since its establishment in 1987 by engineers Shams El-Din Youssef and Abdel Samea Abdel Qader, Al-Shams has relied on a proven track record in executing diverse projects in the fields of education, healthcare, commerce, industry, infrastructure, residential, and resorts, supporting Rayz Developments’ vision of delivering projects characterized by engineering efficiency, quality execution, and optimal space utilization, with its current phase focusing on commercial, administrative, and mixed-use projects.

Engineer Shams El-Din is considered one of the prominent figures in the contracting and engineering sector in Egypt and the region, possessing professional experience exceeding four decades. He founded Al Shams Contracting and Engineering Works in 1987, which provides Rayz Developments with a strong leadership foundation based on a comprehensive understanding of both the execution and development phases.
Engineer Abdel Samea also forms one of the main pillars in the professional journey upon which Al Shams Contracting and Engineering Works Company was built, relying on a solid engineering background and practical experience extending since his graduation from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Alexandria University in 1981, followed by his engagement in various executive and field paths before dedicating himself to founding the company in 1987. His participation in the founding contributed to building a strong entity that, through years of continuous work, has managed to establish its position among the major contracting companies in Egypt, reflecting a leadership vision that combines technical competence, institutional experience, and a wide scope of engineering and executive works.
