Cairo, June15, 2026 – Kitchen Equipment Factory (KEF), a subsidiary of Garrana Group, is participating in the Egyptian pavilion at the Benghazi Home & Hospitality Show 2026, taking place in Benghazi from June 15–18.
The company is showcasing its latest products and specialized solutions for industrial kitchens, restaurants, hotels, and hospitals as part of its strategy to expand internationally and increase exports.
Engineer Hanaa Garrana, Chairwoman of Kitchen Equipment Factory, said the company’s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening the presence of Egyptian industry in the Libyan market and creating new export opportunities for locally manufactured products serving the hospitality, foodservice, infrastructure, and service sectors.
She noted the growing demand for specialized operational equipment across hotels, hospitals, restaurants, oil companies, and large institutions in Libya.
Garrana added that the company aims to highlight its manufacturing capabilities and present a comprehensive portfolio of products to customers, importers, and representatives of Libya’s hospitality, tourism, and service sectors.
She emphasized that the Libyan market represents a significant opportunity for Egyptian manufacturers capable of delivering high-quality products alongside reliable supply, installation, maintenance, and after-sales services.
According to Garrana, KEF’s presence within the Egyptian pavilion underscores the company’s focus on leveraging specialized exhibitions as platforms for direct engagement with customers, understanding market requirements, and exploring partnerships with local and regional stakeholders.
These efforts support the company’s plans to expand beyond Egypt and strengthen its footprint across Arab and African markets.
She noted that the exhibition brings together a wide range of sectors related to hospitality, home and hotel equipment, catering supplies, commercial kitchens, and restaurants, making it an ideal venue to showcase the company’s solutions to a broad audience of target customers.
Garrana described Libya as one of the most promising markets for the company’s products, citing increasing demand for industrial kitchen equipment and hospitality solutions in both new developments and renovation projects.
This creates substantial opportunities for Egyptian manufacturers that can offer competitive quality, pricing, and after-sales support.
She added that Egypt’s geographical proximity to Libya provides a strong competitive advantage in terms of delivery speed, customer communication, technical support, maintenance services, and spare parts availability compared to suppliers from more distant markets.
This proximity also facilitates the development of long-term partnerships in sectors that require continuous operational equipment rather than seasonal supplies.
Since shifting its focus to local manufacturing in 2019, Kitchen Equipment Factory has successfully expanded its portfolio to more than 400 locally manufactured products serving industrial kitchens, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, bakeries, pastry shops, tourist resorts, cruise vessels, and sports clubs.
The company provides integrated solutions that begin with assessing client requirements and designing operational layouts, followed by equipment selection, supply, and installation.
This approach ensures the delivery of efficient kitchen environments that meet safety, quality, and hygiene standards while supporting institutions that require professional catering and foodservice solutions.
KEF’s product range includes electric and gas-powered cooking equipment such as cookers, fryers, boiling and pressure kettles, hot plates, bain-maries, grills, and steam boilers.
The company also offers refrigeration solutions for restaurants, hotels, and commercial kitchens, including upright and horizontal refrigerators, display refrigerators, cold rooms, and freezer rooms designed for the safe storage of food products and perishables.
In addition, the company manufactures a wide range of neutral equipment in its factories using high-grade stainless steel, including worktables, sinks, shelving units, racks, and counters tailored to the operational needs of industrial kitchens and service facilities.
KEF also supplies kitchenware, tableware, hotel supplies, bakery and pastry equipment, and products for tourist resorts and cruise vessels, further strengthening its ability to provide comprehensive solutions for the hospitality and foodservice industries.
Garrana concluded by reaffirming the company’s confidence in the quality and competitiveness of Egyptian-made products.
She said KEF will continue investing in product development and local manufacturing capabilities to strengthen its position as a leading provider of industrial kitchen and hospitality equipment while contributing to the growth of Egyptian exports across regional and international markets.
