Cairo, Egypt - June 10, 2026: M squared, a leading Egyptian real estate developer and the real estate arm of Intro Holding, will host the first edition of Family Function at 31WEST in 6th of October City towards the end of the year.
Family Function is a new platform dedicated to empowering Egyptian families through expert insights, shared experiences, bonding activities, and intergenerational dialogue designed to bring households closer together. The one-day event aims to help families navigate parenting, child wellbeing, safety, communication, and the everyday challenges shaping family life today.
The inaugural edition, expected to welcome 3,500 parents, children, teenagers, and caregivers, is a pillar in M squared’s mission of placing families, community building, and care into the heart of its developments. By hosting it at 31WEST, the company aims to create spaces that give families room to live, connect, learn, and spend meaningful time together.
Founded by Al Zomra, a leader in life-schooling, identity-building, and character development, the initiative was co-founded with SAFE, a pioneering organization dedicated to child protection, family bonding, and well-being, with a positive impact across Egypt and the region. The initiative is further empowered by I-Events, one of Egypt's most prominent experience and event management companies. Family Function combines learning, entertainment, and meaningful participation in a way that has not been seen before. Through expert talks, workshops, storytelling sessions, parenting discussions, youth-focused programming, and interactive family experiences, the platform creates opportunities for families to spend quality time together while exploring the realities, opportunities, and challenges of modern family life.
The event will be held under the theme “At Home, I Am…”, exploring the roles people play inside their families and the everyday moments that shape trust, communication, and connection at home. The ultimate aim is to contribute to a future where stronger families help build stronger, more resilient communities across Egypt.
Launching towards the end of October, the platform marks the beginning of a long-term initiative dedicated to supporting, empowering, and connecting Egyptian families.
