Cairo, Egypt – 1 June 2026: Nile Property Expo, in partnership with the British Egyptian Business Association (BEBA), will host London’s largest economic conference dedicated to promoting investment opportunities in Egypt on 3–4 June 2026, bringing together senior government officials and leading Egyptian and British investors.
The event will feature the participation of Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk, and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid Saleh, alongside Egypt’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Ashraf Swelam, and the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Egypt Gareth Bayley Richardson.
Conference sessions will be moderated by Chairman of BEBA Khaled Nosseir, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Todd Wilcox, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce (EBCC)Ambassador Gareth Bayley Richardson, and Head of Markets at Beltone Holding Khalil El Bawab.
The conference will feature a distinguished lineup of business leaders and chief executives from leading Egyptian and British institutions across multiple sectors. Among the speakers are Chairman of the Housing Committee of the Egyptian House of Representatives and President & CEO of Tatweer Misr Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, CEO and Managing Director of Vodafone Egypt Mohamed Abdallah, CEO of Somabay Group Ibrahim El Missiri, CEO of Paragon Developments Bedeir Rizk. In addition to, CEO of O West, Makadi Heights, and Byoum at Orascom Development Hazem Helal, and Chief Economist for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa Simon Williams.
Commenting on the event, Dr. Bassem Kalila, Chairman of Kalila Conferences and Exhibitions, organizer of the Nile Property Expo, said that the conference is part of the company's broader strategy to expand the international reach of Egyptian real estate and showcase the country's investment opportunities to global investors.
He added that the event aims to strengthen connections between Egyptian and international business communities while highlighting Egypt’s economic growth story, ongoing development projects, and recent reforms designed to improve the investment climate and attract foreign capital.
Dr. Bassem Kalila noted that the conference will provide a platform to discuss key investment themes shaping Egypt’s economy, including the sectors attracting global capital, opportunities and returns across the real estate market, legal safeguards available to foreign investors, profit repatriation mechanisms, and public-private partnership models.
The event will also spotlight Egypt’s digital transformation agenda and the growing investment opportunities emerging within the technology sector, he explained.
The conference precedes the 20th edition of the Nile Property Expo, which will take place in London on 27–28 June 2026, at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly. The timing underscores the synergy between Egypt’s investment promotion efforts and initiatives aimed at expanding the export of Egypt’s real estate.
Since its launch, the Nile Property Expo has established itself as one of the leading international platforms connecting Egyptian real estate developers with overseas buyers and investors. The exhibition has attracted thousands of visitors across its various editions and generated substantial sales, contributing to Egypt’s broader strategy of promoting property exports as a key source of foreign currency inflows.
