For the first time at New Capital, AIG launches “Trust Program” to strengthen customer confidence and reinforce its commitment to real estate market

Egypt – 5 September 2026: AIG has launched its “Trust Program” for the first time in New Capital, in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to promote a more disciplined and compliant real estate market. The initiative aims to strengthen customer confidence and reinforce a culture of commitment across the sector by offering a range of benefits and guarantees that provide greater protection and flexibility throughout contracting process.

Karim Abdin, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at AIG, said that the launch of Trust Program reflects the company’s strategy to build long-term relationships with customers based on trust, transparency, and commitment.

He added that the initiative is also aligned with the leadership’s vision of regulating real estate market and supporting serious developers that uphold their customers’ rights.

Abdin noted that the Trust Program reflects AIG’s commitment to putting customers and their confidence at the center of its priorities. The program is initially being rolled out at the AI TOWER project, marking a practical step toward turning the concept of trust into tangible guarantees that customers can rely on from the signing of their contracts through to the handover of their units.

Abdin disclosed, “We support the President’s directives to promote a disciplined real estate market where committed and responsible companies lead the sector and continue to grow. Against this backdrop, we wanted to offer customers a clear program that provides greater confidence and security, while demonstrating that the company’s commitment is not merely a promise, but a responsibility we assume toward our customers.”

He added that the Trust Program offers beneficiaries several exclusive benefits, including a 100% payment refund guarantee if the company fails to commence construction within 24 months of the contract date. In such cases, customers are entitled to a full refund of all payments made, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.

The program also allows customers to suspend their installment payments if the company fails to meet the agreed delivery date. Under this guarantee, payments can be suspended until the unit is handed over, in accordance with the program’s terms and conditions.

The program also provides a full payment refund with compensation. If the company fails to meet the agreed delivery date and the customer wishes to terminate the contract, the customer will be entitled to a 100% refund of all payments made, in addition to the penalty payable by the company under the contractual terms.

It also offers an exclusive and free assignment option, allowing customers to transfer ownership of their units in accordance with the mechanism specified under the program, without any fees or additional payments.

In addition, the Trust Program guarantees first-phase customers the best value for their money by ensuring access to the company’s best available offer.

He emphasized that these benefits are part of the company’s efforts to establish a new model for the developer-customer relationship, based on mutual responsibility, transparency, and commitment to construction and delivery timelines.

AIG’s CCO said that the Trust Program is currently available exclusively to first-phase customers at the project, while the company will continue to assess and develop the program in line with customer needs and market developments.

Karim Abdin concluded, “Customer trust is not a marketing slogan for us; it is a commitment that we want customers to experience at every phase of their journey with us. We believe the future of real estate market belongs to companies that honor their promises and respect their customers’ rights, and this is the approach we have chosen to follow at AIG.”
