With EGP 1.8 Billion in Investments, UE Developments Begins Construction of E District in Shorouk Ahead of Its Sales Launch

Cairo, October 28, 2026: UE Developments has announced the launch of its new project, E District, in Shorouk City, with investments of EGP 1.8 billion. Construction has already begun ahead of the project's sales launch, reflecting the company's commitment to delivering on the ground before marketing.

E District occupies a prime location in the 7th District of Shorouk City, close to the French University in Egypt and Shohadaa Road. This places it at the heart of the city's largest residential cluster and gives residents of Shorouk and the surrounding areas easy access to the project.

Spanning 7,500 square meters, the project introduces a new medical and commercial concept. It offers fully finished medical units, ready to host clinics and medical centers, alongside commercial units, with areas starting from 37 square meters. The mix is designed to suit the needs of doctors, investors, and business owners alike.

Eng. Khaled Tarek Waheed, CEO of UE Developments, affirmed: "We believe that a client's trust begins with seeing the project standing. That is why we decided to start construction before the launch, so that clients can make their decision while seeing what we are committing to. This underscores the company's seriousness in meeting the agreed delivery date."

He added that Shorouk City was chosen based on a study of the market and the city's needs, noting that it is experiencing continuous population growth and rising demand for medical and commercial services, and that the company places quality and on-time delivery at the top of its priorities.

Units at E District are scheduled for delivery in 2029.

UE Developments' launch of E District builds on a track record that reflects its commitment to execution. Its portfolio includes EMC, a medical and commercial project in Nasr City that has been operating for more than six years. At Oasis in Nasr City, construction has been fully completed and the project is now in its finishing phase, while construction at Element in the Fifth Settlement has reached approximately 50%. The company also has more than 500 residential units, completed and under construction, across various areas of Greater Cairo.

UE Developments continues to expand in the Egyptian real estate market, delivering projects that combine the right location, contemporary design, and disciplined execution.
