Egypt Retail Summit is back bigger than ever for the third time with Red-Carpet Retailers’ Awards on March 23, 2022, under the patronage of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade and the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA)


Over 300 guests and investors will participate in ERS’22 interactive platform to explore the most significant retail trade trends.

 

The third edition of Egypt Retail Summit, "ERS 2022," Egypt's first and largest forum of retail traders, will take place on March 23rd under the patronage and presence of Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Dr. Ibrahim Ashmawi, Deputy Minister of Supply and Internal Trade and Director of the Internal Trade Development Authority. The summit will kick off on Mamsha Ahl Misr with the inaugural honoring ceremony for "Retail Experts" (Red Carpet Retailers' Awards)


The summit aims to support the retail sector and the Egyptian government's plans to develop commercial chains in new cities and the New Administrative Capital, as well as to stimulate solid partnerships between the private sector and the Egyptian government in accordance with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s guidelines

 

The summit's new edition sheds light on the various trends in retail operations, the recent direction used in ecommerce, and consumer spending limits, as well as the usage of digital payments and their impact on customer shopping experiences, with a focus on the ever-changing ways in consumer behavior, particularly in light of COVID-19. It also discusses a new generation of buying and selling strategies and marketing plans that can be required in this transitional phase, in the presence of local and regional market leaders in the retail sector, like senior board members of major global corporations, real estate developers for largest commercial malls, marketing and retail consultants, and investment & trade experts from around the world. Over 300 investors and visitors offer their thoughts, insights, and the most recent worldwide approaches to add real value to brands in a highly dynamic and ever-changing market
