Westway Developments Pours Over EGP 15bn in Investments and Targets EGP 5bn in Sales for 2027

Cairo, September 15, 2026: Westway Developments has successfully established itself as one of the most promising real estate entities, driven by a profound and well-studied strategic vision that goes beyond merely achieving sales to encompass execution, delivery, and actual operation, ensuring sustainable investment returns for clients. The company revealed the construction progress of its projects and its ambitious future plans during a press tour organized with elite journalists and media figures, in the presence of the company’s board of directors.

This strong momentum crowns accumulated expertise and major strategic alliances that have forged a robust entity boasting an integrated investment portfolio exceeding EGP 15 billion in West Cairo. The portfolio comprises 7 massive projects featuring 1,623 units and a total sales area of approximately 161.4 thousand square meters, encompassing diverse commercial, administrative, medical, hospitality, and residential activities. Key projects include 360Health , River Park 1, River Park 2, Z4 Mall, Town Plaza, and ICON, alongside new upcoming phases and projects.

As part of its ambitious 2027 plan, the company aims to accelerate construction rates to reach advanced completion levels of up to 90% in some projects, while initiating the handover of a number of units according to precise timelines. The company also plans to achieve contractual sales worth EGP 5 billion during 2027 (excluding fourth-quarter sales of EGP 2 billion), alongside exploring promising expansion opportunities in the coastal sector. This is backed by an integrated operational framework comprising robust departments in development, engineering, finance, operations, sales, marketing, data analytics, and risk management, in addition to ambitious domestic and international marketing plans through active participation in major real estate exhibitions and events.

Dr. Mohamed Farouk, Chairman of Westway Developments, stated that the company's strength relies on the integration of visions and expertise among its founding major entities, which include Memaar El Farouk for Construction and Development under his leadership, and Deyar for Construction and Development led by Eng. Hany Farrag. He emphasized that this merger of engineering and development expertise has added significant weight to Westway Developments’ ecosystem, enabling it to deliver integrated projects that meet the needs of the Egyptian market and align with the latest modern urban planning standards.

Dr. Mohamed Farouk explained that the board's strategy focuses on thoroughly studying the market and adopting environmental and economic sustainability standards across all projects. He noted that the company places great emphasis on offering flexible sales and payment solutions suited to various client segments, thereby enhancing the competitive value of the company's projects and boosting long-term investment returns for every investor placing their trust in Westway Developments.

In the same context, Eng. Hussein Salah, Vice Chairman of Westway Developments, stated that the company's planning and engineering sector operates according to precise execution plans that guarantee strict adherence to project timelines without compromise. Salah stressed that reaching up to 90% completion rates in certain projects reflects the competence of the engineering and operational teams and the top management's keenness to monitor all field details, ensuring that execution complies with the highest international standards.

The Vice Chairman added that the company is heavily investing in upgrading its internal workflow systems and leveraging data analytics and risk management to ensure continuous success. He indicated that 2027 will witness a qualitative leap through the commencement of deliveries for major projects and the launch of new, advanced phases in new strategic areas and governorates, fulfilling client aspirations and aligning with the entity's future expansion ambitions.

For his part, Eng. Hany Farrag, Board Member of Westway and Chairman of Deyar for Construction and Development, confirmed that the strategic partnership through which "Deyar" joined Westway Developments directly contributed to a qualitative shift in the investment portfolio, which exceeds EGP 15 billion. Farrag pointed out that Deyar's long-standing expertise in the construction sector has enabled the company to adopt innovative engineering solutions that ensure operational efficiency and elevate the investment value of commercial, administrative, medical, and residential units.

Eng. Hany Farrag emphasized that the company's future expansion plan for 2027 is not limited to West Cairo alone, but extends to exploring promising investment opportunities in the coastal sector. He underscored that the strong harmony between the development, engineering, sales, and marketing departments is the secret behind the company's ability to achieve its EGP 5 billion sales target while maintaining the highest standards of client trust.

Meanwhile, Eng. Hany Helmy, Board Member, noted that the operational philosophy within Westway Developments relies on transforming every square meter across its projects into a real estate asset with strong economic viability and sustainable investment returns. Helmy explained that the operations, asset management, and financial analysis departments work in complete harmony to ensure the success of projects post-delivery—not just during the sales phase—which explains the company's commitment to diversifying its project activities across commercial, administrative, medical, and hospitality sectors.

Eng. Hany Helmy affirmed that the company is preparing for 2027 through an integrated marketing and external exhibition plan that includes participation in major regional and international real estate events to attract new segments of investors and cement Westway Developments' position as a symbol of credibility and commitment in the Egyptian and Arab real estate markets.

Mr. Mohamed Fawzi, CEO of Westway Developments, stated: "We measure our success by our ability to execute, deliver, and genuinely operate, rather than just by the number of projects launched or total sales alone. We have successfully built a portfolio exceeding EGP 15 billion in investments, while completion rates in a number of our projects have reached advanced stages. During 2027, we are working to translate this construction progress into actual handovers according to clear timelines, targeting EGP 5 billion in sales—excluding Q4 sales of EGP 2 billion—while upholding our commitments to clients and maintaining high execution quality."

He added: "My responsibility as CEO is to ensure that we execute what we have promised and deliver on time, rather than stopping at announcing new plans. We will continue working with discipline to achieve our 2027 targets, ensuring that every project bearing the WestWay name stands as a successful, operational asset where clients truly witness the value of their investments materialized on the ground."
